Ordering and Shipping Information
Delivery--Art Xpress will ship in stock items within 48 hours of receipt of your order (most orders leave within 24 hrs). Special attention is given to insure that your order is packaged with the best care available. UPS Ground and USPS usually delivers within 2-7 working days after your order leaves our warehouse. Overnight services are available at an additional charge.
*Free Shipping--Orders over $400.00 ship with no freight charge if the delivery destination is within the 48 contiguous United States. Exceptions: truck freight items, oversized items, and some drop ship items. Drop ship items that ship via truck will be charged actual freight after we receive the freight bill from the manufacturer. Please allow additional shipping times for drop ship items.
*Oversized packages--These items may incur additional delivery charges. These charges will be determined by our shipping department when your order is packed and added to your order at that time.
*Orders Delivered by Truck Freight--Any order that is oversized for UPS will be shipped via truck freight. Truck freight carriers usually have a minimum charge and actual costs will depend on class of materials, distance and actual weight of shipment. The minimum charge is usually $75-$100 for deliveries to commercial addresses (residential deliveries are somewhat higher). However, any discount we receive as shipper will be passed directly on to you.
*Delivery Outside of the Continental US--.Normally we use USPS to ship these items. Unless under our normal delivery charges from the chart above, actual freight and insurance charges will be added to your order after our shipping department determines the charges.
Hazardous Items--We do not ship hazardous materials.
Rush Same Day Shipping--We offer this service to our customers who must have their order shipped the same day. Your order will be given priority over the other orders and all in stock items will be shipped the same day. Rush shipping does not mean that you will receive your order the next day. Rush orders must be placed by 1:00 p.m. EST (Mon-Fri). There is a $5.00 charge for this service in addition to all other charges. Some drop ship and large truck items are excepted.
Backorders--We attempt to fill backorders as quickly as possible but occasionally some items are unavailable. In order to help our customers keep track of your orders and to ensure you receive supplies in a timely fashion, we cancel backorders not filled within 30 days of shipment. All cumulative backorders under $20.00 will be cancelled.
Returns--Your satisfaction is our first priority. All returns must be previously authorized to receive proper credit. Merchandise returned without authorization will delay processing. Please call us for assistance at 1-800-535-5908. Replacements or refunds will be provided. All returns must be received in like new and resalable condition.
Purchase Orders--We accept bona fide purchase orders from government agencies, accredited schools and large corporations. Proper bank and credit references should accompany purchase order. Billable orders are subject to net 30 day terms. Purchase orders must be received in writing.
Sorry, no COD's accepted. All orders must be prepaid. All prices subject to change without notice. Group orders must be paid in one payment and can be shipped to only one address.

Warehouse Pickup
For the convenience of the local professional artist. Art Xpress orders may be picked up at our retail location. City Art, 1224 Lincoln Street. All orders must be placed at lease 48 hours prior to pick up. A $5.00 handling charge will be added to all pick up orders in addition to applicable SC sales tax. (If tax exempt, please bring certificate) Please no additions or corrections to these pickup orders. Pick up orders must be prepaid by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. (Sorry, no cash or checks accepted.)
